Chris Hammad | Director, The Edward J. Samuel Elementary Campus
Ms. Chris is the newest member of our executive team. She is a USF graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She also holds a Florida Professional Educators Certificate, with certifications in elementary education, exceptional student education, middle school math, integrated middle grades, and ESOL. Chris worked as a public-school teacher for six years and in 2015, was her school’s nominee for Hillsborough County’s Teacher of the Year. When her son was born, she left teaching to be a stay at home mom. A former Montessori student herself, Chris knew she wanted her son to learn in a Montessori environment. As soon as she stepped into Brandon Montessori, she knew she had found the perfect school. Three years later, Chris was given the opportunity to be a part of our amazing Montessori family, and now, has the chance to provide the same extraordinary experience to other parents and their children. In her spare time, Chris enjoys reading, practicing yoga and spending time with her son.
